Include the app name and version, your macOS version, what you expected and what happened. For a large-file issue, include the file size and format. Please do not send passwords, payment details or confidential JSON. A small example with sensitive values removed is usually enough.

myJson help

What is included in Free and Pro?

Viewing, editing, saving, search, regular expressions, bookmarks, split view and queries are free for files up to 50 MiB (52,428,800 bytes). Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks larger files and large-file search and navigation. For gzip files, the threshold applies to decompressed size. The Mac App Store displays the price for your region.

How do I restore Pro?

Use the Apple Account that purchased Pro. Open the Pro screen in myJson and choose Restore purchases. If Pro is not restored, check your internet connection and Apple purchase history, then contact us. No separate myJson account is required.

Why can a large file take time to open?

myJson validates and indexes a document when it opens. Loading time and memory use depend on the file’s structure, the number of values, disk speed and available memory. Close unneeded documents and apps if memory is limited. Pro does not remove hardware limits.

Are there limits on queries or copying?

General queries and clipboard transfers are limited to 16 MiB. Container length queries use index information. Editing a large document rebuilds its index and can take time. These technical limits also apply to Pro.

What should I do if a file will not open or save?

Use Open file to select the document and grant access through the macOS file picker. Check that the file contains valid JSON or line-delimited JSON. For saving, choose a writable location with enough free disk space. Send us the error text if the problem continues.

Who handles billing and refunds?

Apple handles Mac App Store payments. You can review a purchase or request a refund through Apple’s Report a Problem service. Refund eligibility is determined by Apple.
